Lonestar is the new and improved name of Midland. The show has been picked up! Yes, Adrianne’s returning to prime time television with her brunette hair. Below is a sneak peek of Lonestar.
FOX is giving the fall “House” lead-in to “Lonestar,” a provocative soap set against the backdrop of the Texas oil culture. It comes to the network courtesy of Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman, the creators of “Party of Five”; Marc Webb, the director of “(500) Days of Summer”; and creator Kyle Killen.
Newcomer James Wolk is Robert/Bob Allen, a charismatic schemer who has meticulously constructed two lives in two different parts of Texas. As “Bob,” he lives in Houston and is married to Cat (Adrianne Palicki, “Friday Night Lights”), the beautiful daughter of Clint (Jon Voight, 24, “Midnight Cowboy”), the patriarch of an ultra-wealthy Texas oil family. In Houston, he’s a devoted husband, charming Cat and her family to cement his position in the rich family business he aims to clean out.
More than 400 miles away in the suburban west Texas town of Midland, he’s “Robert,” living a second life with his sweet, naive girlfriend, Lindsay (Eloise Mumford, “Mercy,” “Law & Order: SVU”). He plays the perfect boyfriend while secretly bilking local investors of their savings. Bob has lived both lives successfully for years without arousing any suspicions…so far.
I got my hands on a blu ray copy of Legion so I recapped the movie and have replaced the captures with the new high def ones. Enjoy!

I want to wish Adrianne a safe and happy birthday today! Our very own Ms. Palicki turns 27 today!
I hope she has a wonderful birthday.
I’m working on yet another layout for the site, I’m not happy with this one and it has a lot of issues with the posting format that I don’t like, so stay tuned for that!
With many thanks to Ashley, who attended high school with Adrianne, she was kind enough to take some pics from the yearbooks and programs from things Adrianne was in. Thank you so much Ashley!

And on that note, I’m taking a small break from the site to recoop myself. I’ll update though with any major news 🙂
Finally got around to adding Adrianne from her role as Holly Rocket in Women In Trouble. I loved this movie, really it was hilarious and I typically do not like comedy type films.

Just a small snippet of who Adrianne is playing
MIDLAND (FOX) – Jon Voight (“24”) and David Keith (“The Class”) are set to play the patriarchs on the drama pilot, about Robert Allen (Jimmy Wolk), a con artist juggling two lives in two Texas cities with two different women. Voight will play Clint, Bob’s oil tycoon father-in-law through Cat (Adrianne Palicki), “the kind of classic, handsome, boots and jeans Texan you see in the movies or the White House.” Keith then is set as John, Bob’s father (“white haired, a hard edged handsome”), who groomed his son to follow in his con-man footsteps. Bryce Johnson and Eloise Mumford also star in the hour, which is set up at 20th Century Fox Television. Marc Webb is directing from a script by Kyle Killen.
The 15th Gen Art Film Festival launches April 7, 2010 at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City and will roll for 7 straight days with 7 films and 7 associated parties. Can I type 7 one more time? Yes. 7.
The festival opens at the Ziegfeld Theatre with 2010 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award Winner “happythankyoumoreplease,” and then moves to the Visual Arts Theater with “Elektra Luxx,” directed by Sebastian Gutierrez, starring Carla Gugino, Timothy Olyphant, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Malin Ackerman, and Adrianne Palicki
So, if you’re lucky enough to attend this event, please let me know how it was, I loved Women in Trouble and can’t wait to see the sequel to see what trouble our girls get into next.
Dollhouse star Fran Kranz has landed a role on NBC comedy pilot Friends With Benefits, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The single-camera project is penned by (500) Days of Summer writers Michael Weber and Scott Neustadler and will be directed by Wedding Crashers helmer David Dobkin.
The plot sees five friends looking for love through various means, but settling for “friends with benefits” in the meantime.
Kranz will play one of the group, a nerdy, hopeless romantic who is worth around $12 million after selling an algorithm to Google.
In other pilot news, Fox comedy Traffic Light has recruited Alexandra Breckenridge and Friday Night Lights stars Adrianne Palicki and Bryce Johnson have been added to Fox drama Midland.
I’m happy, it’s got quite a few people I adore attached to it, I’m just hoping Fox gives this a chance, unlike Past Life that they yanked from my life.
Interesting term to use, but on the 24th of February she was named the ‘Hump Day Hottie’ on eSarcasm with a little blurb.
